BHCC Holding Limited (BHCC) announced that on 23 June 2026 its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, BHCC Development (Project 2) Pte. Ltd., together with ECO Energy Pte. Ltd., jointly submitted a public tender for a 28,441.28-sq-m land parcel at Lok Yang Way, Singapore, earmarked for a Civic & Community Institution (foreign workers’ dormitory).
The joint tender required a deposit equal to at least 5% of the bid price. BHCC’s share of the tender deposit amounts to approximately S$2.50 million (about HK$15.00 million), funded entirely by internal resources. If the bid succeeds, the deposit will be credited against the final tender price; if unsuccessful, it will be refunded within the 10-week tender validity period.
BHCC intends to hold up to a 20% stake in a joint-venture company that would be formed to lease and develop the site should the tender be awarded. Management expects the project to enhance and diversify the Group’s property development portfolio, which already includes residential, industrial and commercial initiatives in Singapore.
Under the Hong Kong Listing Rules, the deposit exceeds the 5% but falls below the 25% asset ratio threshold, classifying the payment as a discloseable transaction subject to reporting and announcement requirements under Chapter 14.
