On the morning of April 23, the fourth Sichuan "Scholarly Tianfu ·全民阅读" conference, alongside the launch ceremony for the 2026 "National Reading Activity Week," was held in Deyang. The event unfolded through three main segments: "Reading the Past · Tracing Ancient Shu," "Reading the Present · A Dynamic Tianfu," and "Reading the Future · A Scholarly Journey." The "Millennium Civilization Envoy" of the Sanxingdui ruins—an AI digital human named "Bronze Standing Figure"—presented the "2025 Sichuan Provincial全民阅读Survey Report" via a large screen. Data revealed that Sichuan's overall全民阅读index reached 70.01 points, with the resident comprehensive reading rate, book reading volume, and digital reading rate all exceeding the national average. In 2025, 75.3% of adult residents in Sichuan Province were aware of local全民阅读brand activities, and among those who had participated, the satisfaction rate was 81.7%. The "Scholarly Tianfu ·全民阅读Map" precisely marks 80 core reading spaces across Sichuan, while the "Scholarly Tianfu ·全民阅读Passport" includes one hundred distinctive check-in locations throughout the province. During the public welfare book donation segment, representatives from urban and rural communities, rural libraries, special education schools, and village schools collectively received donated books. The on-site donation amounted to 100,000 yuan worth of books, with cumulative donations during the activity week expected to reach 900,000 yuan, primarily targeting students, the elderly, people with disabilities, and other key groups.
