Zunyi City is leveraging its resource advantages to actively build a clean energy system. At the Tongzi Liangfengya Wind Farm, 16 wind turbines operate around the clock to generate electricity.

Entering the control room of the wind farm, operations and maintenance personnel are conducting routine tasks such as equipment monitoring, hazard inspections, and turbine commissioning. Yu Xiaoqiang, station manager of the Tongzi Liangfengya Wind Farm, stated that as of June 30, the total electricity generation reached 54,216,257 kWh, a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. The farm can generate approximately 200 million kWh of green electricity annually, saving nearly 70,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 200,000 tons.

In the first half of this year, Tongzi County's wind power industry steadily improved in quality and efficiency, with cumulative wind power generation reaching 370 million kWh and output value hitting 130 million yuan. The county has now connected 10 wind farms to the grid, with a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts. The pace of industrial construction is accelerating, with four additional wind power projects under orderly construction.

The shift toward green energy is driving industrial innovation. By utilizing rooftop solar panels at the Daozhen Shangyu Industrial Park, businesses are reaping the benefits of solar power. One leading enterprise in the park, which integrates edible fungi research, cultivation, sales, raw material processing, and bio-organic fertilizer production, occupies nearly 450,000 square meters of factory space and consumes up to 400,000 kWh of electricity daily, making it a major local power user. Ran Wenling, deputy director of Guizhou Guiwang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., noted that the photovoltaic project was gradually put into use in October 2024. The total installed capacity for the first and second plants is 32 megawatts, and daily power generation currently reaches about 60,000 kWh.

Several other companies in the park are actively pursuing photovoltaic projects, and the "rooftop energy revolution" is quietly transforming the energy usage patterns of traditional manufacturing. Zou Tao, deputy director of the Shangyu Industrial Park Management Committee in Daozhen Gelao and Miao Autonomous County, Zunyi City, said: "The total building area of the park is approximately 550,000 square meters. We encourage companies to invest in distributed photovoltaic projects. To date, photovoltaic systems have been installed on about 340,000 square meters of rooftops, with another 70,000 square meters under construction. The park's photovoltaic coverage rate has exceeded 60%."
