ZO Future Group announced that, effective 12 June 2026, He Dong will join the Board’s executive ranks as Joint Chief Executive Officer, and current CEO Huang Dongfeng will transition to the same Joint CEO position.
Huang Dongfeng will continue to oversee the Group’s overall day-to-day operations and project investment and financing activities. He Dong will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations of the new-energy commercial-vehicle segment and the execution of related development strategies.
He Dong, aged 39, joined the Group in November 2023 and currently serves as president of the Asia-Pacific new-energy automobiles business, as well as a director and vice-president of several subsidiaries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in e-commerce from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (2008) and an MBA from Carl Benz Academy (2014). His 15-year automotive career includes a decade at Pangda Automobile Trade Co. Ltd., where he managed multiple brands and regional operations before establishing an automotive supply-chain venture.
Under existing service contracts with Group subsidiaries, He Dong is entitled to aggregate annual remuneration of approximately HK$2.34 million. A separate letter of appointment sets a 12-month initial term for his Joint CEO role, commencing 12 June 2026, with no additional fixed remuneration; discretionary bonuses and benefits may be granted subject to Board and Remuneration Committee review.
The Board, now comprising seven directors chaired by Zhao Wenqing, expressed a formal welcome to He Dong and confirmed Huang Dongfeng’s re-designation as Joint CEO.
