REMEGEN (09995) shares climbed more than 5% in morning trading, reaching 83.95 Hong Kong dollars, with a turnover of 298 million Hong Kong dollars.

On the news front, Remegen issued a profit alert, forecasting first-half revenue of approximately 5.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 430%. The company expects to achieve a net profit attributable to shareholders of 4.7 billion yuan, with adjusted net profit at around 4.30 billion yuan. On a comparative scale, the projected first-half revenue already exceeds the full-year revenue level for 2025, and the profit scale is significantly higher than the full-year net profit for 2025. This marks the first time the company has achieved substantial profitability on a mid-term reporting basis since its listing.

The company attributed the performance growth to two main factors. First, domestic sales revenue from its core commercial products, Telitacicept and Disitamab Vedotin, continued to increase. Second, a significant technology licensing revenue was recognized following the exclusive licensing agreement with AbbVie for RC148 outside of Greater China, becoming the most critical incremental source of profit for the period. In January of this year, Remegen signed an agreement with AbbVie for the overseas rights to RC148 (a PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody), with the total transaction value potentially reaching up to 5.6 billion US dollars.
