As of 9:00 AM on August 9, data from the Variflight typhoon path and airport impact forecast map shows that 38 airports are expected to be affected by Typhoon "White Dolphin" from August 9 to 11. On August 9, flights at Ningbo Lishe Airport, Taizhou Luqiao Airport, and Lishui Airport have been entirely canceled.

Flights at Wenzhou Longwan Airport and Zhoushan Putuoshan Airport are nearly all canceled, while Shanghai Pudong Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport have seen almost 80% of their flights suspended. Hangzhou Airport reported canceling 270 arriving and departing flights on August 9, primarily concentrated in the time slots after 12:00 PM. It is expected that starting this afternoon, the outer periphery of the typhoon will gradually impact airport operations.
