The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs' Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center recently issued Announcement No. 44 of 2026, unveiling the second batch of the National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products list for the year. Both "Mashenqiao Blueberries" and "Honghuayu Mulberries" from the district have successfully secured a spot, adding another prestigious national honor to the region's agricultural portfolio.

According to the announcement, a total of 537 products, including "Shunyi Strawberries" applied for by the Shunyi District Agriculture and Rural Bureau in Beijing, passed the rigorous review process. After verification by municipal and provincial agricultural product quality and safety technical institutions, expert technical evaluations organized by the ministry's center, and a public notice period on the center's official website, these products met all the requirements for national recognition.

The newly listed products have now been officially included in the National Famous, Special, and New Agricultural Products catalog, with certificates issued to the respective holders. The certificate holds long-term validity but operates under an annual confirmation system. Certificate holders are required to complete the yearly confirmation procedures as stipulated; failure to do so within the specified timeframe will result in the automatic removal of the certified product from the national list.
