Ping An announced today that its workers' congress convened on September 7, 2026, resulting in the election of Zhuang Yan to serve as an employee representative director on the company's 13th board of directors.

The appointment is subject to regulatory approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, and her term will align with the duration of the 13th board. According to her biography, Zhuang Yan, aged 52, joined Ping An in June 1995 and currently serves as the chair of the company's trade union federation committee and secretary-general of the corporate health office.

Throughout her career, she held several key positions, including deputy general manager of the planning and finance department, deputy general manager of the accident and health insurance division, and general manager of the human resources department at Ping An Property & Casualty's western region business unit between November 2005 and July 2013. From July 2013 to November 2018, she served as general manager of the talent performance management department at Ping An's human resources center, followed by a role as chief human resources officer at Lufax from November 2018 to July 2025.
