Nvidia stock jumped 0.36% in premarket trading. Bloomberg reported that China is poised to greenlight certain imports of Nvidia Corp.'s H200 chips as early as this quarter, according to sources with knowledge of the matter, potentially restoring the company's access to a vital market.

Palantir stock rose 1.72% in premarket trading following President Donald Trump’s social media post outlining plans for a significantly increased defense budget.

The recovery was sparked by Trump’s statement proposing a $1.5 trillion defense budget for 2027, a substantial increase from the previously discussed $1 trillion figure. In his social media post, Trump indicated the higher budget would "allow us to build the ’Dream Military’" and keep the country "SAFE and SECURE."

Applied Digital shares climbed over 6% in premarket trading after the company released its second quarter earnings report, beating estimates on the top and bottom lines.

Canadian Solar's stock plummeted 6% in premarket trading following the company's announcement of a proposed offering of $200 million convertible senior notes due 2031. The offering includes an overallotment option of up to $30 million, with proceeds intended to fund U.S. manufacturing capacity and general corporate purposes.
