According to the "Xiong'an Release" WeChat public account, as an important city landmark of Xiong'an New Area, Xiong'an Library officially opened for operation on September 27th.

Xiong'an Library is located in the startup area, with a total construction area of approximately 68,000 square meters. It is designed to house about 1.5 million books and can provide 3,500 reading seats. The library features multiple functional themed spaces including a comprehensive service hall, children and juvenile reading areas, leisure reading areas, and electronic reading rooms, which can meet the personalized cultural needs of readers of different age groups.

Smart connectivity is a major highlight of Xiong'an Library. The "one-stop intelligent borrowing and returning" system, smart bookshelves that can precisely locate books, and immersive reading experiences incorporating MR/VR technology reshape the public's perception of public reading spaces, showcasing the future library form that integrates technology and humanities.

As a cultural landmark of Xiong'an New Area, Xiong'an Library is adjacent to the sports center and innovation hub. The surrounding area has many relocated institutions, a dense concentration of young intellectual groups, and the most active innovation atmosphere. The official operation of this "smart sea of books" will have a significant radiating and driving effect on the cultural construction of Xiong'an New Area.

Dang Jianwei, Deputy Director of the Propaganda and Cyberspace Administration of Xiong'an New Area and Party Branch Secretary of Xiong'an Library, stated that the library not only serves local citizens but will also radiate to surrounding relocated universities, central enterprise headquarters, and industrial parks.
