MIXUE GROUP (HKEX: 02097) saw its share price rise over 6% following news of its foray into the film industry.

The stock gained 6.6% to HK$281, with a trading volume of HK$181 million.

This movement comes after China's National Film Administration released its latest batch of film script approvals.

Among the 159 projects approved was an animated film titled *Wish Upon a Snow King*, which has received official project filing and approval.

The filing marks the official entry of the bubble tea chain MIXUE GROUP into the movie business.

Public information shows the film's filing entity, Snow King Love Animation Culture (Beijing) Co., Ltd., is a subsidiary of MIXUE GROUP.

The subsidiary was established in December 2024 with a registered capital of 60 million yuan.

This is not the company's first venture into animation, having previously released a 12-episode animated series called *Snow King's Fantasy Desert*.

A company representative stated that film-related matters are progressing steadily.
