Binhui Biotech Receives CSRC Filing Approval for Hong Kong IPO and Full Circulation of Unlisted Domestic Shares

China's securities regulator has given the green light for Wuhan Binhui Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to proceed with its overseas listing and the conversion of its domestic unlisted shares into tradable shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The approval, issued on September 4 by the China Securities Regulatory Commission's International Cooperation Department, marks a key step in the company's path toward its Hong Kong initial public offering.

Under the filing notice, the company is authorized to issue up to 38,102,600 overseas-listed ordinary shares and list them on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Additionally, 54 of its existing shareholders will convert a total of 150,933,379 domestic unlisted shares into overseas-listed shares, allowing them to be traded and circulated on the Hong Kong bourse.

According to its prospectus, the company is a China-based oncolytic virus therapy biotech firm focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of cancer immunotherapies. Internally, it has developed its lead product BS001 (OH2 injection) along with two other key candidates in its pipeline.

As of the latest practicable date of March 27, 2026, the company's pipeline includes two clinical-stage drug candidates—BS001 and BS006—as well as two preclinical-stage candidates, BR003 and BS051.
