HKBN Announces Company Secretary Transition: Feona Ng Resigns, Ling Yan Kong Appointed

HKBN Ltd. reported that Ms. Ng Yuk Yee Feona resigned as Company Secretary and ceased to serve as an Authorised Representative under Hong Kong Listing Rule 3.05 and Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance, effective 11 August 2026. According to the Board, Ms. Ng has no disagreements with directors and there are no matters requiring shareholder or Stock Exchange attention.

The Board simultaneously appointed Ms. Kong Ling Yan as the new Company Secretary and Authorised Representative, also effective 11 August 2026. Ms. Kong is a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong, holding a Master’s in Corporate Governance, a Bachelor’s in Laws, a Bachelor’s in Economics, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws. She is a member of The Law Society of Hong Kong and a Fellow of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute. Her prior experience spans multiple Hong Kong-listed companies, covering corporate and commercial legal affairs, compliance, governance, and company secretarial functions.

The Board expressed gratitude to Ms. Ng for her service and extended a formal welcome to Ms. Kong. As of the announcement date, HKBN’s Board consists of three Executive Directors (Ling Hao, Li Xin, Shen Qingyi), one Non-executive Director (Luo Weimin), and three Independent Non-executive Directors (Cheung Ming Ming Anna, Chung Cordelia, and Chung Kit Yi Kitty).
