Tanwan Inc. announced a buyback of 320,000 ordinary shares on 22 July 2026, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$10.80 and HK$11.25 per share, with a volume-weighted average of HK$11.01. The aggregate consideration reached HK$3.52 million, and all repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares.
Following the transaction, Tanwan’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.06 % to 519.09 million, while treasury shares rose to 15.35 million. The company’s total issued share capital remained unchanged at 534.44 million shares.
The repurchase was made under a mandate approved on 17 June 2026 that authorises the company to buy back up to 52.12 million shares. Including the latest transaction, Tanwan has repurchased 2.14 million shares, equivalent to 0.41 % of the issued share capital on the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, Tanwan is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, ending on 21 August 2026.
