Shares of KEYMED BIO-B (02162) climbed more than 7% during intraday trading, with the stock last up 6.42% at HK$82, on a turnover of HK$103 million.
The company announced on August 19, 2026 that its board had resolved to propose an issuance of ordinary shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market), to be traded in Renminbi. The proposed issuance is subject to, and dependent upon, market conditions, further board approval, shareholder approval at a general meeting, and the receipt of necessary regulatory approvals.
Previously, KEYMED BIO-B issued a positive profit alert, expecting to record a profit of no less than RMB 1.2 billion for the first half of 2026. Its innovative product, Kangyueda, continued to expand patient coverage thanks to its strong clinical value, generating sales revenue of RMB 390 million in H1 2026, up 132% year-on-year, providing a sustained revenue stream for the company.
