RIGOL reported solid top- and bottom-line expansion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, leveraging sustained demand for electronic test and measurement solutions across communications, new energy and semiconductor sectors.
Revenue rose 37.2 % year on year to RMB 486.84 million, supported by a 28.4 % increase in product sales to RMB 367.05 million and a 75.0 % jump in solutions revenue to RMB 109.44 million. Overseas markets contributed RMB 181.12 million, or 37.2 % of total revenue.
Gross profit increased 38.3 % to RMB 255.00 million, lifting the gross margin by 0.5 percentage points to 52.4 %. Profit for the period advanced 129.1 % to RMB 37.15 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose 54.5 % to RMB 88.11 million.
Operating expenses were mixed: selling expenses grew 5.1 % to RMB 61.32 million, R&D expenditure expanded 6.7 % to RMB 115.65 million, and administrative expenses declined 9.5 % to RMB 46.10 million. Net finance costs fell sharply as borrowings were reduced.
The balance sheet remained strong. Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 315.68 million; financial assets at fair value through profit or loss amounted to RMB 1.30 billion. The gearing ratio dropped to 1.11 % from 2.84 % at year-end 2025 after repayment of short-term bank loans.
Capital commitments totalled RMB 122.80 million, mainly for continued investment in production capacity and an associate. RIGOL maintained its technology focus, with R&D spending equivalent to 23.8 % of revenue for the period.
In February 2026 the company repurchased 140,000 A shares for RMB 5.42 million. A final dividend of RMB 0.40 per share for FY 2025, totalling RMB 77.34 million, was paid during the period; no interim dividend was declared.
Post-period, RIGOL’s H shares commenced trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 9 July 2026, raising net proceeds of approximately HKD 1.04 billion to fund growth initiatives. Management reiterates its commitment to AI-enabled testing technologies, modular instrument platforms and deeper penetration of high-growth downstream sectors.
