The Yunnan Financial Regulatory Bureau has approved the transfer of equity in Yunnan Hongta Bank, granting authorization for CITIC Bank to acquire 914.55 million shares from Kunming Industrial Development Investment Co., Ltd.

Following this transaction, CITIC Bank will hold a total of 914.55 million shares in Yunnan Hongta Bank, representing a 14.52% ownership stake.

The regulatory body has instructed Yunnan Hongta Bank to enhance its equity management, further optimize its shareholding structure, strictly control related-party transactions among shareholders, and improve corporate governance and internal control mechanisms to mitigate and resolve risks.
