According to data, the cryptocurrency market showed a generally weak trend ahead of the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision later on Wednesday. The CoinDesk 20 index edged up 0.41% since midnight UTC, with 10 cryptocurrencies rising and 10 falling, reflecting significant divergence between bulls and bears. BTC rose 0.75% again after a highly volatile 48-hour period, attempting to recover Tuesday's losses. Last week, its price surged to $66,700 before plunging to $62,400 following a steep sell-off in South Korean stocks. It is now stabilizing above $64,000.

Current data shows a 4.1% inflation rate, prompting the Federal Reserve to consider raising the federal funds target rate for the first time in three years. However, a temporary de-escalation of hostilities between Iran and the United States has reduced upward pressure on oil prices, slightly lowering the likelihood of a rate hike. ETH dipped 0.13% on the day. Futures contracts tied to the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 both moved higher, while gold remained above $4,000 and silver rose 1.40%. These indicators suggest that before the policy announcement, the market is more focused on hedging strategies rather than making directional investment decisions.
