CH DISPLAY OPT (00334) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with the group recording revenue of RMB 3.565 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.4%. Profit attributable to owners of the parent reached RMB 43.16 million, reflecting a decline of 15.4% compared to the same period last year, with basic earnings per share of RMB 2.06 cents.
During the review period, revenue growth was primarily driven by higher sales volume, which outpaced the overall revenue increase. This was mainly attributed to shifts in product mix and a decline in average selling prices due to intensified market competition, resulting in a 6.7% year-on-year drop in average selling price to RMB 81.6 per unit.
Throughout the review period, the group experienced downward pressure on average selling prices across its product categories, influenced by falling market prices and product mix adjustments. However, sales volume growth varied across different segments, leading to divergent operating performance across the board.
The tablet module segment delivered particularly robust sales performance, with sales volume surging 175.5% year-on-year to 16.6 million units. Despite a decrease in average selling price due to product mix changes, related revenue increased by 57.8% to RMB 2.3506 billion, establishing itself as the group's primary growth engine for the first half of the year. Meanwhile, smartphone module sales volume grew 6.5% year-on-year to 26.5 million units, but corresponding revenue declined 4.0% to RMB 1.16 billion, weighed down by lower average selling prices.
Overall, the group has consolidated its existing brand customer base while actively expanding its medium-sized module business, including tablet modules, effectively offsetting the downward pressure on prices.
