On September 10, JD.com officially announced that in addition to existing measures for adverse weather conditions including overtime penalty waivers, dynamic delays, and premium subsidies, JD.com's food delivery service will now provide free red cape raincoats to all full-time delivery riders.

The initiative comes as seasonal weather transitions have led to increased rainfall in recent periods, prompting the company to enhance protective measures for its delivery workforce.
