New Hope Service H1 2026 Revenue Up 4%, Profit Down 17% as Margins Tighten; Declares HK$0.096 Interim Dividend

New Hope Service Holdings released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, highlighting mixed top-line growth and bottom-line pressure.

Revenue and Earnings • Revenue rose 4.20 % year-on-year to RMB 771.12 million, driven mainly by a 7.90 % increase in property-management income to RMB 503.97 million, which now contributes 65.40 % of total sales. • Net profit attributable to shareholders fell 17.00 % to RMB 100.35 million, as group gross margin narrowed 3.10 percentage points to 28.50 % and net margin slipped to 13.00 %. • Basic earnings per share declined to RMB 0.123 from RMB 0.149 a year earlier.

Segment Performance • Property Management Services: RMB 503.97 million revenue; margin 23.10 % (-2.20 ppt). – Third-party projects delivered 42.60 % of segment turnover, up from 38.00 %. • Lifestyle Services: RMB 164.54 million revenue (-6.80 %); margin 37.90 % (-1.00 ppt). • Commercial Operational Services: RMB 44.22 million revenue (-8.30 %); margin 55.60 % (-8.70 ppt). • Value-added Services to Non-property Owners: RMB 58.39 million revenue (+21.90 %); margin 27.90 % (-4.60 ppt).

Operational Metrics • Contracted GFA expanded 4.90 % to 43.46 million sq m, while GFA under management grew 5.20 % to 40.02 million sq m. • GFA under management per capita increased 17.80 % to about 11,500 sq m; revenue per capita climbed 16.70 % to RMB 221,800. • Collection rate improved 1.10 ppt to 71.10 %.

Cash Flow and Balance Sheet • Net cash from operations reached RMB 20.59 million. • Cash and cash equivalents edged up 0.40 % since year-end to RMB 961.85 million. • Current ratio stood at 2.4x; the group remained debt-free with zero net gearing.

Dividend and Capital Allocation • The board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.096 per share, equivalent to roughly RMB 67.57 million, consistent with the new policy of distributing at least 60 % of attributable net profit annually. • Since listing in 2021, HK$700.12 million of the HK$790.00 million IPO proceeds have been deployed; HK$89.88 million remains earmarked mainly for IT upgrades and strategic projects.

Corporate Actions and Governance • During the period, New Hope Service raised its stake in Chengdu Mingyu Global Business Management to 96.5 % for RMB 65.48 million, reducing non-controlling interests by RMB 44.46 million. • Board changes included the resignations of Independent Non-executive Director Mr Cao Qilin and Non-executive Director Ms Zhang Wei in March, with Ms Li Ruojun joining as INED on 16 March 2026. • The group reported full compliance with Hong Kong’s Corporate Governance Code and maintained a public float above 25 %.

Outlook Management plans to deepen regional penetration, prioritise high-quality third-party contracts, and leverage technology to bolster service capabilities while sustaining dividend returns to shareholders.
