The eurozone's manufacturing sector showed renewed momentum in August, as the latest purchasing managers' index (PMI) climbed to its highest level in months.

Data released by S&P Global revealed that the August PMI for the region's manufacturing industry reached 52.7, a notable increase from July's reading of 51.9. This latest figure also marks a significant improvement compared to the same period last year, when the index stood at 50.7, signaling a robust expansion in factory activity. The final reading for the month came in slightly below the preliminary estimate of 52.8, but still underscored a solid uptrend in business conditions across the bloc.
