MEITU's video creation tool "KaiPai" has announced it will be among the first applications to integrate Seedance 2.0, with the integration expected to go live by the end of February. KaiPai, launched by MEITU in 2023, is a tool specifically for creating monologue-style videos and currently holds the top position in China for user base in this product category. Following the integration of Seedance 2.0, its generative capabilities will be directly embedded into KaiPai's video creation workflow. Users will not need to use the large language model separately, switch between applications, or undergo additional training. Previously, the announcement of Seedance 2.0 had raised market concerns about the potential disruption large language models could cause to existing applications. However, industry analysts suggest that KaiPai's rapid adoption of the latest model is part of MEITU's broader "model container" strategy. Enhancements in underlying large model capabilities are expected to help leading specialized applications like KaiPai refine their product features, offering users a smoother workflow and improved results.
