Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB) shares surged 8.49% in pre-market trading on Friday, extending a rally that began after the company reported second-quarter financial results that exceeded Wall Street expectations across all key metrics.

The vacation rental giant posted Q2 revenue of $3.61 billion, up 17% year-over-year and above the consensus estimate of $3.58 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.37, significantly beating the $1.25 analyst consensus, while net income climbed 27% to $816 million. Gross booking value grew 16% to $27.2 billion, and Nights and Seats Booked increased 10% to 148.3 million, accelerating from the previous quarter. The strong performance was fueled by resilient global travel demand, a notable boost from the FIFA World Cup hosted across North America, and the company's AI-driven platform improvements that have reduced concept-to-delivery time by up to 60% and enabled nearly 80% more feature launches year-over-year.

More importantly, Airbnb raised its full-year revenue growth outlook to "at least mid teens" from the prior "low to mid teens" range, and issued third-quarter revenue guidance of $4.69 billion to $4.77 billion, well above the $4.61 billion Street consensus. Following the results, multiple Wall Street analysts raised their price targets, with Canaccord Genuity lifting to $200, RBC to $195, Piper Sandler to $170, and J.P. Morgan to $170, further bolstering investor sentiment.
