On September 8th, Alibaba Group held a donation ceremony to support Tsinghua University's Wuqiong College. Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming stated that Alibaba hopes to assist in the construction of Tsinghua University's Wuqiong College, actively leveraging both parties' advantages in talent, technology, and ecosystem to create synergy and contribute to the cultivation and development of AI talent.

Tsinghua University President Li Luming expressed gratitude for Alibaba's donation. He stated that he looks forward to strengthening multi-dimensional integration across various AI fields between both parties in the future, jointly building a favorable educational ecosystem for the AI era, and working together to advance and even lead the vigorous development of AI endeavors, making greater contributions to accelerating the construction of a strong educational nation, technological nation, and talent nation.

Wuqiong College is one of the new undergraduate colleges established by Tsinghua University this year, aimed at cultivating the most innovative AI leadership talent through the most AI-driven approach. This donation will be used to support the construction and development of Tsinghua University's Wuqiong College, explore AI leadership talent cultivation and development, create an efficient, flexible, and evolving innovative AI talent training model for the AI era, and promote the integration of "talent-technology-ecosystem."

Both parties plan to introduce cutting-edge AI exploration into classrooms, build new AI curriculum systems, and innovate AI educational paradigms. Using complex problems in real scenarios as drivers, they will promote student participation in AI frontier technology research and development, building core innovation capabilities.
