Centurion Accommodation Real Estate Investment Trust (CAREIT) announced on Aug, 05 2026 that gross revenue for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026 rose to 108.944 million Singapore dollars, 5.1 per cent above the prospectus forecast of 103.688 million Singapore dollars.
Net property income reached 78.402 million Singapore dollars, beating the 75.164 million Singapore dollars projection, while amount available for distribution to unitholders came in at 60.487 million Singapore dollars, 9.6 per cent ahead of forecast.
CAREIT will pay a distribution of 3.499 Singapore cents per unit for the period Jan, 01 – Jun, 30 2026. The record date is Aug, 14 2026 and payment is scheduled for Sep, 17 2026. The payout comprises 2.976 cents of taxable income, 0.434 cent of tax-exempt income and 0.089 cent of capital distribution.
As at Jun, 30 2026 the trust held 15 assets with 30,236 operational beds across Singapore, the United Kingdom and Australia. Investment properties were valued at 2.206 billion Singapore dollars, while total borrowings stood at 657.664 million Singapore dollars, representing an aggregate leverage ratio of 29.9 per cent and an interest coverage ratio of 5.91 times.
CAREIT completed the 732-bed EPIISOD Macquarie Park acquisition in Sydney for 345.0 million Australian dollars on Jan, 13 2026, fully funded by debt.
Looking ahead, the manager expects gross revenue in 2H 2026 to exceed its IPO forecast, supported by higher rents and additional contributions from expanded capacity at Singapore properties.
