Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII) stock soared 5% on Thursday in intraday trading, as the recreational vehicle manufacturer announced the launch of its redesigned 2025 Slingshot lineup.
The company unveiled its new three-wheeled Slingshot models, featuring a fully redesigned front end, larger 8-inch speakers for enhanced audio, improved drivability, and more personalization options. The lineup includes four models – the S, SL, SLR, and the top-of-the-line R – offering a range of styling choices and performance levels.
Polaris highlighted several key upgrades for the 2025 Slingshot lineup, including a modest horsepower boost, broader torque curve for better acceleration, updated suspension tuning for improved handling, and ground clearance enhancements. The company also introduced new factory-engineered accessories, allowing owners to further customize their Slingshots with premium audio upgrades, styling accents, and comfort features.
