Canadian gold exploration company San Lorenzo Gold Corp has released assay results from drilling at the San Juan extension within the Arco de Oro target area of its Salvadora project. The results from four drill holes are positive and significantly expand the known extent of the epithermal system.

The four drill holes are located approximately 3.5 kilometers northwest of the Arco de Oro core area. They were designed to test the northwestern extension of the epithermal vein system previously identified at the target. The results confirm a strike length of over 1.5 kilometers from the core area to the San Juan extension.

One drill hole, SAL-12-25, intersected 21.5 meters grading 1.32 grams per tonne gold from 68.5 meters, and 45 meters grading 1.24 grams per tonne gold from 113.5 meters. Another hole, SAL-14-25, intersected 13.3 meters grading 1.56 grams per tonne gold from 35.2 meters, including a 1.4-meter interval grading a high 9.85 grams per tonne.

Terence Walker, the company's Vice President of Exploration, stated that these results align well with the existing geological model and confirm the connection between the epithermal veins and a deeper intrusive body. The company's CEO, Al Kroontje, noted that these near-surface, high-grade veins have the potential to form a standalone gold resource.

It is noteworthy that, based on integrated data from geological mapping, rock chip sampling, geophysical surveys, and evidence from historical hand mining, this epithermal system remains open to the northwest along strike. The total potential strike length exceeds 7.5 kilometers, and future drilling will further test the continuity of the mineralization.
