EC World Real Estate Investment Trust (BWCU) held its annual general meeting on Apr, 28 2026 in Singapore, with Chairman Kelvin Chow presiding and unitholders attending via electronic poll voting.

The meeting adopted the trustee’s report, the manager’s statement and the audited financial statements for the year ended Dec, 31 2025. BDO LLP was re-appointed as external auditor, with the manager authorised to fix its remuneration.

Unitholders also approved a general mandate allowing the manager to issue new units and/or convertible securities representing up to 50% of EC World REIT’s issued units, with a sub-limit of 20% for issuances on a non-pro-rata basis.

During the session, Chief Executive Officer Goh Toh Sim outlined FY2025 performance, addressed ongoing challenges in the China logistics property portfolio, and reiterated efforts to divest assets, improve lease terms and explore internalisation of the REIT management function. Management noted that trading of EC World REIT units remains suspended; an extension for submitting a trading-resumption plan to Singapore Exchange will be sought.

The meeting concluded at 10:40 a.m. after all resolutions were passed with more than 98% of votes cast in favour.
