In recent days, the combined impact of prolonged heavy rainfall and reservoir discharge has sharply escalated safety risks in the region's fishery production sector, with fishing vessels and aquaculture operations suffering varying degrees of damage. Responding swiftly to the flood situation, the district's Natural Resources Bureau has adopted a dual approach combining technological and manual prevention measures, maintaining a tight grip on fishery safety while efficiently managing emergency response and systematically assessing and verifying disaster impacts to coordinate post-disaster recovery and industry restructuring.

On September 7, bureau staff visited Sanjiangkou Town, Jiangkou Town, and Baitang Town to inspect post-disaster conditions in the fishery sector, verifying vessel damage and itemizing the extent of losses to ensure no vessel is overlooked and no potential hazard remains unaddressed. They also toured the aquaculture farms in Xinxing Village and Aoshan Village within Sanjiangkou Town to assess the impact on farming operations, directly listening to the concerns of aquaculture households and meticulously recording the actual damage sustained, laying the groundwork for subsequent support measures and industry recovery.

Throughout the flood prevention and disaster response period, personnel from the district's Vessel Management Center and the Aquatic Technology Station remained on duty around the clock for flood control, promptly using video surveillance to identify individuals who had not yet evacuated from fishery coves and successfully persuading them to leave, thereby mitigating safety risks. The bureau will continue to closely monitor safety hazards in the fishery sector, maintain close contact with affected communities, persistently track the evolving disaster situation, refine and implement post-disaster response actions, and steadily advance the repair of fishery infrastructure and industry reorganization to fully support the gradual restoration of fishery production order.
