Looking ahead, China Tobacco International may place more import and export business within the listed entity of CTIHK; overseas assets of local tobacco companies could also be integrated into the listed company to create a unified entity for overseas expansion. CTIHK may acquire leaf tobacco product suppliers, promising cigarette brands, valuable new tobacco product brands and proprietary technologies, as well as quality wholesalers and sales channels to increase its market share and product penetration.
