ZJ INNOLIGHT (03308) surged over 7% in early trading, with shares up 6.78% at HK$1,229 as of press time, generating a trading volume of HK$621 million. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan have recently increased their holdings of ZJ INNOLIGHT H-shares simultaneously.

According to HKEX disclosures, Goldman Sachs' long position ratio rose to 12.19% as of August 3, 2026. Earlier disclosures showed that as of July 30, its long position had already increased from 5.95% to 11.90%, meaning Goldman Sachs' long position in ZJ INNOLIGHT H-shares has effectively doubled. Concurrently, JPMorgan's latest filing indicated that as of July 31, 2026, its long position in ZJ INNOLIGHT H-shares rose from 5.60% to 13.72%, also doubling its holding ratio.

Regarding recent rumors that the FCC plans to ban Chinese optical modules, industry insiders estimate that even if the "ban" were true, considering factors such as production capacity gaps, technology iteration, and raw materials, the actual implementation of this ban rumor would be difficult. CITIC Securities believes that ZJ INNOLIGHT's Thailand factory has already achieved mass shipments of high-rate products, with plans to further expand production to meet North American client demand. The firm recommends focusing on the layout window after sentiment release, preferring top-tier targets with comprehensive overseas production capacity and superior client composition.
