Lithium stocks jumped in premarket trading on Tuesday. Sigma Lithium up 5%; Sociedad Quimica Y Minera, Albemarle up 1%.
ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. rose 7% in premarket trading on Tuesday after saying it received proposals from multiple strategic parties during its review of strategic alternatives.
The ZIM board also received a revised proposal from an entity owned by Eli Glickman, the company's chief executive officer, and Rami Ungar, the company said in a statement. The board concluded that this proposal "significantly undervalued" the company and informed the bidders that the offer was declined.
