BOYAA (00434.HK) announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. Revenue reached approximately HK$133 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 19.1%. Gross profit amounted to HK$95.744 million, up 23.6% compared to the same period last year.

Revenue from online games was approximately HK$131 million, an increase of about 20.2% year-on-year compared to the first quarter of 2025. This growth is attributed to the company's online operational activities during the reporting period, such as enhanced holiday event operations, the planning of multi-themed limited-time events to boost user engagement and in-game item ecosystem value, and continuous optimization of game products and features. This optimization included refining tournament processes, improving the player experience, introducing spectator features, and enhancing game fairness and competitiveness.

Revenue from digital asset value-added services was approximately HK$1.7 million, a decrease of about 34.6% year-on-year, reflecting the inherent volatility associated with digital asset market performance.

Excluding non-operational, one-time factors such as fair value changes in digital assets and other financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss, the company's profit attributable to owners for Q1 2026 showed an increase of approximately 88.0% compared to the adjusted figure for the same period in 2025. This significant improvement was primarily driven by the year-on-year growth in online game revenue.

The company's operational activities contributed to positive user metrics. The number of paying players increased by 14.3% from approximately 90,000 in Q4 2025 to about 100,000 in Q1 2026. Daily Active Users (DAU) rose by 4.7% from around 640,000 in Q4 2025 to approximately 670,000 in Q1 2026. Monthly Active Users (MAU) grew by 7.5% from about 2.72 million in Q4 2025 to roughly 2.92 million in Q1 2026. Additionally, the Average Revenue Per Paying User (ARPPU) for both the mobile and web versions of its Texas Hold'em game showed an increase.
