All three major US stock indexes slid into negative territory across the board. The Nasdaq Composite shed 0.3%, after climbing more than 1% earlier in the session.

Among Nasdaq constituent stocks, Apple tumbled over 9%, Sandisk lost more than 6%, Micron Technology dropped over 4%, and Tesla fell nearly 2%.
