Investment Banks Raise HOOD Price Targets as Technicals Flash Golden Cross

According to Woofun AI, Robinhood Markets (HOOD.US) shares edged higher on Tuesday as Wall Street investment banks turned bullish, with the core driver stemming from institutional rating adjustments.

Even as the Nasdaq index gained a marginal 0.02% and the S&P 500 index slipped 0.05%, HOOD still strengthened independently.

On the fundamental catalyst front, two investment banks simultaneously raised their expectations. Keefe, Bruyette & Woods maintained its "market perform" rating while lifting its price target to $115; BTIG kept its "buy" rating and raised its price target to $135. The technical picture presents a typical bullish alignment. The current share price of $118.77 sits 2.8% above the 20-day moving average of $115.32 and 25.4% above the 200-day moving average of $94.53.

After a golden cross appeared in August, the 50-day moving average has continued to hold above the 200-day moving average, confirming a long-term uptrend. The July low and September high form key momentum nodes.

The RSI reading of 53.79 sits in neutral territory and has not triggered an overbought warning, indicating healthy upward momentum. Although the current share price is above the short-term moving averages, it remains below the 52-week high of $153.86.

At the close, HOOD stood at $117.06, up 0.52%, with the technical pattern supporting further upside potential.
