Saudi Aramco is considering a revised pricing mechanism for crude oil loaded at Egypt's Sidi Kerir port and destined for Asia, according to three sources familiar with the matter who spoke on Tuesday.
The potential change is designed to account for higher transportation costs resulting from the extended voyage length when export routes are rerouted through the Suez Canal.
The move reflects the company's efforts to align its pricing with the actual logistical expenses incurred along the altered shipping path.
