Morgan Stanley has appointed Tommy Zheng as head of its Asia-Pacific investment banking industrials division.
According to an internal memo, Zheng will serve as managing director of Morgan Stanley's Asia-Pacific general industrials group. The memo indicates that Zheng will be based in Hong Kong. A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
Zheng brings approximately 15 years of investment banking experience to the role. He most recently served as managing director at Bank of America's Asian investment banking division, where he covered industrial transactions.
According to Zheng's LinkedIn profile, prior to joining Bank of America in 2020, he previously held positions at Credit Suisse, JPMorgan and Nomura.
