Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. (GRCB) released an updated announcement confirming the key dates and details of its proposed final dividend for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. The cash payout is set at RMB 0.46 per 10 shares, subject to shareholder approval on 29 May 2026.
The ex-dividend date for Hong Kong-listed H-shares is scheduled for 2 June 2026, with the share register closing from 4 June to 9 June 2026. Shareholders on record as of 9 June 2026 will be entitled to receive the dividend, which will be paid on 15 July 2026. The dividend will be distributed in Hong Kong dollars; the exact conversion rate from renminbi will be announced separately.
Withholding tax arrangements remain unchanged. For non-resident enterprise shareholders, GRCB will withhold corporate income tax at 10%, subject to any applicable tax treaties. Individual non-resident shareholders will face a 10% withholding rate, unless their home jurisdictions warrant reduced or elevated rates under bilateral agreements. In cases where no treaty applies, a 20% rate will be imposed.
The updated notice also confirms the involvement of Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited as the share registrar, with the deadline for lodging transfer documents set at 16:30 on 3 June 2026.
