In the initial six months of this year, propelled by its dual strengths in the digital economy and advanced intelligent manufacturing, Zhejiang Province has demonstrated remarkable growth in robot exports, showing a strong and rapid expansion trend.

According to statistics from Hangzhou Customs, the export value of various robots, including industrial robots, from Zhejiang Province exceeded 10 billion yuan during the first half of the year.

Within this total, exports of intelligent bionic robots surpassed 4 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 60% of the national export volume in this category.

Zhejiang has now established a comprehensive robot industry ecosystem that spans research and development, core component manufacturing, final assembly, software integration, real-world application deployment, and international trade.

In Hangzhou alone, the provincial capital, there are over 700 companies involved across the robot industry chain, covering areas from whole-machine R&D and parts production to software algorithms and practical applications.
