Bortex Global Limited (the “Company”) has announced a proposed change of its English name from “Bortex Global Limited” to “China Capital International Holdings Limited,” accompanied by the adoption of “中資國際控股有限公司” as its new dual foreign name in Chinese. The new names would replace the existing Chinese name, “濠亮環球有限公司.”
According to the announcement, the proposal must be approved by a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting and by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands. If approved, the effective date will be marked by the issuance of a certificate of incorporation on change of name. The Company plans to coordinate the resulting changes with the Hong Kong Companies Registry and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, including adjustments to its English and Chinese stock short names for trading purposes.
The proposal does not affect any existing share certificates, which will remain valid as evidence of title. Shares will continue to be traded on the Stock Exchange under the current name until the effective date. After the name change, new share certificates will be issued under the new company name without any arrangement for free exchange of old certificates. The board believes that the new corporate image will benefit the Company’s future business development. The official timetable and additional details will be provided to shareholders in due course.
