On May 22, the Dongguan branch of the People's Bank of China issued an administrative penalty notice. China Construction Bank Corporation's Dongguan branch was penalized for violating regulations concerning financial statistics, payment and settlement, fintech, and treasury business management. The branch received a warning, was fined 592,845 yuan, and had illegal gains of 159.58 yuan confiscated, resulting in a total penalty of 593,004.58 yuan.
