The appointment of Mr. Huang Geng as a non-executive director to the ninth board of directors has received formal approval from shareholders of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (NCI).

Mr. Huang will enter into a corresponding service agreement with the company. His term of office will commence from the date his director qualification is approved by the regulatory authority and will last until the conclusion of the ninth board of directors' term.
