Hotel Properties Limited shareholders approve all motions, declare 4-cent final dividend at Apr, 30 2026 AGM

Hotel Properties Limited told investors that all eight resolutions tabled at its Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Apr, 30 2026, were duly approved by poll with support of at least 99.92% of votes cast for each motion.

The meeting adopted the Directors’ Statement and audited results for the financial year ended Dec, 31 2025, cleared S$537,833 in directors’ fees, re-appointed Deloitte & Touche LLP as external auditor, and re-elected directors Mr Lawrence Wong Liang Ying and Mr Christopher Lim Tien Lock. Shareholders also renewed the general share-issue mandate (up to 50% of issued capital, with a 20% sub-limit for non-pro-rata issues) and the 10% share buy-back mandate.

Investors approved a first and final one-tier tax-exempt dividend of 4 cents per ordinary share for FY2025, payable on May, 22 2026.

During the question-and-answer session, management said about 22% of the 249 residential units at the Bankside Yard development in the United Kingdom have been pre-sold, with revenue recognition expected upon completion next year. At the completed Paddington Square project, office space is fully leased while retail occupancy is roughly 75%. Of the approximately 100 million Singapore dollars in FY2025 interest expenses, around 12 million Singapore dollars related to lease liabilities; the group may consider asset monetisation to manage financing costs. Management also indicated ongoing evaluations of recycling lower-yielding assets, predominantly overseas, and noted preliminary discussions with potential partners regarding the redevelopment of three Singapore properties totalling about 1.2 million square feet of gross floor area.

The AGM concluded at 4:32 p.m., after which shareholders were invited for refreshments.
