Cadre Holdings, Inc. (CDRE) experienced a sharp after-hours plunge of 7.30% on Tuesday, following the release of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results.

The safety equipment maker reported quarterly earnings that significantly missed analyst expectations. Cadre posted Q4 EPS of $0.27, falling well short of the FactSet consensus estimate of $0.40. Quarterly sales of $167.2 million also missed the IBES estimate of $182.9 million, representing a 5% year-over-year decline.

Further pressuring the stock were substantial declines in profitability metrics. The company's Q4 net income fell 10% to $11.74 million, while adjusted EBITDA dropped 11% to $34.4 million, also missing the estimated $37.3 million. The company attributed the sales decline to higher-than-normal shipments in the prior-year period following a cyber incident in Q3 2024. Despite providing full-year 2026 sales guidance that was above estimates, the weak quarterly performance and profit declines prompted the negative market reaction in after-hours trading.
