Sun Hung Kai & Co. buys back 108,000 shares; cumulative repurchases under 2026 mandate rise to 1.21 million

Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited disclosed that it repurchased 108,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 18 June 2026. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$4.06 to HK$4.16, for an aggregate consideration of HK$0.44 million. The volume-weighted average price for the day was approximately HK$4.09 per share.

Including earlier on-market transactions of 90,000 shares on 15 June, 62,000 shares on 16 June and 95,000 shares on 17 June—none of which has yet been cancelled—the company has acquired a total of 355,000 shares over the four-day period. These pending-cancellation shares represent about 0.02 % of the company’s 1.96 billion issued shares as at 18 June 2026.

Since shareholders renewed the buyback mandate on 27 May 2026, Sun Hung Kai & Co. has repurchased 1.21 million shares, equivalent to 0.06 % of the share capital approved for repurchase (196.50 million shares). All shares bought to date are intended for cancellation. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until 18 July 2026.

The total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 1.96 billion as at 18 June 2026 because the repurchased shares had not yet been cancelled.
