Recent disclosures from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveal significant insider buying activity at CSTONE PHARMA-B (02616).

Since the beginning of June, four directors, including Executive Director Dr. Yang Jianxin and Non-Executive Directors Li Wei and Hitchner III Kenneth Walton, have collectively purchased approximately 1.8065 million shares.

Based on the average purchase prices, these transactions represent an investment exceeding HK$8 million.

Notably, Dr. Yang Jianxin, who assumed the CEO role in August 2022, has now accumulated a personal holding of over 13.38 million shares using his own funds, representing a 4.54% stake, which underscores his long-term commitment to the company's future.

On the operational front, the global multi-center Phase I clinical trial for CS5007, a core candidate in the company's Pipeline 2.0 strategy, has received approval from the Australian Human Research Ethics Committee.

This marks the full commencement of its global clinical development, signaling that the next generation of innovative assets is rapidly transitioning from the technology incubation phase into the clinical validation stage.

Concurrently, major international financial institutions, including Jefferies and Goldman Sachs, have recently published research reports expressing optimism about the differentiated advantages and business development potential of the company's core asset, CS5009, maintaining their "Buy" ratings.
