An event aimed at connecting digital industry supply with demand between Ningxia and Fujian was recently held in Yinchuan, organized by the Data Center of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Nearly 150 delegates, representing key digital enterprises, financial institutions, and medical organizations from both regions, took part in the gathering.
The event centered on fostering collaboration in areas such as "Fujian data, Ningxia computing", "Fujian data, Ningxia backup", and "AI+" industry empowerment. Its purpose was to facilitate the exchange of resources and experience between the two provinces, promote complementary strengths in their digital industries, and explore new measures for digital cooperation during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, thereby writing a new chapter in their digital economy partnership.
During the proceedings, the Data Center of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Data Management Bureau of Fujian Province presented their respective achievements in digital industry development, resource advantages, and supply-demand directions. Yinchuan City gave a themed presentation on innovative AI applications, while Zhongwei City highlighted its data center cluster construction. The Fujian Provincial Big Data Group and China Unicom's Ningxia branch also delivered presentations on digital industry cooperation needs and computing power service capabilities.
A joint initiative, the "Fujian-Ningxia Backup Cooperation Community Proposal", along with a "Fujian-Ningxia Digital Industry Cooperation Opportunity List", was released by the two regions. These documents are intended to guide enterprises toward more precise collaboration opportunities in areas such as computing power supply, equipment manufacturing, data elements, and AI applications. More than ten upstream and downstream digital enterprises from both regions reached cooperation intentions, signing eight agreements on the spot, covering areas like "Fujian-Ningxia inference computing services" and "AI and non-intrusive sensing technology transformation". These agreements span computing services, data backup, and technology scenario collaboration, establishing a new "Fujian data, Ningxia backup" cooperation model and further solidifying the coordinated growth of the digital economy between the two provinces.
Looking ahead, the Data Center of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region will continue to align with the Digital Ningxia strategy, adhering to an integrated development path of "gathering, storing, transmitting, computing, and applying". The focus will be on advancing the entire digital industry chain. Seizing the opportunity presented by this supply-demand matchmaking event, the region aims to refine the long-term cooperation mechanism between Ningxia and Fujian, actively engage target enterprises, provide diligent follow-up services, and accelerate the implementation of collaborative outcomes.
