Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (O39) priced GBP 1 billion of floating-rate covered bonds due 2029 under its US$10 billion Global Covered Bond Programme on Aug, 20 2026.
The bonds will pay interest at Compounded Daily SONIA plus 0.48% per annum, with quarterly payments in arrears. They are expected to be rated Aaa by Moody’s Investors Services Limited and AAA by Fitch Ratings Ltd. Red Sail Pte. Ltd. will provide a guarantee for payments of interest and principal, secured by a portfolio of assets acquired from OCBC.
Issuance is scheduled for Aug, 26 2026, with listing on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited expected on Aug, 27 2026. Joint lead managers are Barclays Bank PLC, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets plc, RBC Europe Limited, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Singapore Branch, and The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
OCBC said net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
