Metasurface Technologies Holdings Limited reported a repurchase of 174,000 ordinary shares on 10 September 2026, executed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$3.48 to HK$3.65 apiece, for an aggregate consideration of HK$0.62 million, implying a volume-weighted average cost of HK$3.55 per share.
Prior to the transaction, Metasurface had 149.05 million issued shares (excluding 0.95 million treasury shares). The buy-back reduced the public float by 0.12%, bringing outstanding shares down to 148.87 million. The repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock, increasing the treasury share balance to 1.13 million and keeping total issued shares unchanged at 150.00 million.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 30 June 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 14.99 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.03 million shares, equivalent to 0.69% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date. In accordance with GEM Listing Rules, Metasurface is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 10 October 2026.
